I noticed on the following page:
http://www.milonic.com/menuvinfo.php

A menu appears when hovering over text within the page, is this possible with this DHTML menu and how?

Great DHTML menu, I am not sure what that review was on about

Hi glidem,

Thanks for that. I think this is the greatest system out there, especially for the non-technical. I think with some reviews it has to do with a subconscious need to drag down or knock down anyone who is successful.

There are two ways you can do what you mention. One is to use the title attribute in the aI title="whatever text" It will pop up a little box when you mouseover that particular link. That's not controllable, it opens and closes and you can't 'size' it. The other option is to use the tooltips module which you can artistically design with borders, colors, fonts and fontsizes etc.

Yeah the DHTML menu is far more flexible then say flash based and still very compatible.

The only thing I would probably suggest is having better examples of what this fantastic menu is capable of.

Thanks again for your time...

I have it working now, looks perfect for what I need however I cant seem to get the tooltip to dissapear unless I hover over my DHTML menu.

Is there a command to get it do dissapear on when the mouse moves off the link to place in tooltop.js?

Also is there a way you can insert an image at the start of every tooltip?

You can use html in the tool tip. So, you could code an image in it like you would on an html page.

As to it not closing, I don't use them, have you looked for the closing delay in it?

I added an image with the tooltip, but I think the java didnt like the .gif part.

As for the closing, with the tooltip.js file, there seems to be no editable line to edit this function....
