I searcged and only found an older reference to Safari.

In Safari, IE and Firefox the menus won't display over the animation. Has there been a fix for this?

PS. Hello all, I just started fooling around with the menu system for the project. Pretty cool thus far.

I am using IE, and FF [pc] and the menus drop over the flash fine. Here are some topics about the menu and Flash

I believe you need to do something about setting wmode transparency, but that will not work in all browsers because some don't support that.

Yeah, this was an OSX problem.

I added wmode=transparent to the embed tag and now it works. thanks though.
