Tool Tips

On the home page of Milonic menu under Products there is a link to Tool Tips which although it states "Coming Soon" must already be here. When I click on that menu item it shows examples using the new Tool Tips version 2.1. Where do I get examples of the code that created the examples?

Hi

http://www.milonic.com/tooltips.php#

Why dont you make use of your browser to show the source code?, then mark everything, between script /script, and copy whatever you want. After that you can paste it into your editor, modifying it or not and store as your tooltip_data_file. Some files which are necessary e.g. oval_bubbly.gif or oval_speech.gif, you may find in the directory menuimages on that site. Reading only is required. You may add whatever tooltip definition styles you need e.g. from that file to your menu_data.js file and place the tooltips.js file to the other milonic files into your page code.

the tooltips.js file itself you can download from
http://www.milonic.com/tooltips.js which is normally accessible via the main menu DHTML Menu - Bolt-on-Modules

Thanks for your help. I understand your solution. Just thought that Milonic would have a "Sample" download just like they do for all thier other menu types. The download would contain the sample code and images all in one place.

Thanks again..

Hi Bob,

I'm sure Andy's working on getting it in a download. It's very new with all those bubbles and stuff and he may still be fine tuning. It went up Dec 22 or something like that. The old sample is still up as a download, but it doesn't have all the new stuff in it. Just the regular 'square' tips that show when you code them.
