Some pages throwing _menuCloseDelay is undefined in IE

We've just posted an update to our site, http://www.circuitcity.com and some of our pages are throwing a client-side error "_menuCloseDelay is undefined". This only seems to happen in IE. We're on version 5.0 of the menus.

We can not get this to happen consistenly. Typically the first page we load is fine, and sometimes secondary pages throw the error. Sometimes they don't. If you go to the homepage, and then click "Car" in the menu, sometimes the message will popup there.

It looks like this might be a timing issue from what we can see, but if anyone can offer a hand, that would be great. :?

Hi,
You are way down level on the menu, you are using version RC28, that is a beta issue before the final release was done, and there have been some upgrades since the final release. Now the version is V5.48.

Make sure you keep a copy of the release you are now using copied into a separate folder, the milonic_src.js, mmenudom.js, and mmenuns4.js files, [just in case there is amy issue with the newest release for your already designed site] then upgrade to the newest release and upload those 3 files and see if the problem is resolved.

There isn't any way we can give help on a release so far back, there have been so many minor/major fixes and additional functions added to the menu. Also, if the issue continues to exist, please let us know which browser is causing the problem.

We did try downloading the updated code. We tried using it in our development and test site, but it didn't seem to solve the issue.

As I mentioned before, this is happening in IE only. Mozilla seems to handle the menu just fine.

I'm sorry, but if you're using the old release there's not much we can do to help. That was beta, it was released almost a year ago and the menu program has had probably more than 100 new releases with whatever changes have been made to the programming. There's no way we could find out whatever the issue is with the old release. If it's happening with the new one, then they can look at it, but the solution would probably not apply to the beta release. Again we need to know the browser, which version of IE, I have IE5.5 and tried a number of links with no problem, and the OS would also be helpful, sometimes it's a combination of the two.
